LIFE IN PICS

I haven't done a more personal post like this in a while, besides the aching walls of my ever-growing wardrobe, there are other things which are important to me: friends, family -represented by my dog ;), food and a creative outlet which for me is this blog. I think for most people they're main focuses hover over the same spectrum of factors which are all needed in balanced quantities, as the saying goes 'everything in moderation', right?
I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend, today I realised I reached 100 followers! I know for many it isn't a big number, but it's a small milestone for myself and I'm so happy each of you enjoy reading the blog. I'm excited to continue this journey with you guys, here's to the future!

LAZY DAYS

I decided to dedicate today to relaxation and catching up on the little pleasures of life - I baked cookies (flourless, buterless and utterly delicious), flicked through magazines, listened to music and finally took a long walk with my dog. Oh how I've missed doing absolutely nothing!
During this time of year the fields are full of these gorgeous buttercups, I couldn't think of a better backdrop for these pictures. Aren't they just beautiful? I wanted to say welcome to my new followers, and a huge thank you for taking time out of your day to read my blog, your sweet comments truly put a smile on my face - thank you!
I hope you're all having a lovely day and go give this a listen, it's so beautiful!

FESTIVAL VIBES

There's something so effortlessly cool about pretty flowy skirts, boxy crop tops and ankle boots that reminds me so much of something you'd wear to a music festival - all that's missing is a floral crown and the Vaccines playing in the background! I adore this kind of androgynous style, mixing feminine pieces with more boyish apparel gives such a 'yes, I'm a girl but I could most definitely kick your ass' kind of feel, no?
MAJOR ALERT: In case you haven't heard, GFC has decided to abandon us which means in a few weeks time, blogs you follow will no longer appear on your blog roll 'What?!'. I know, I'm shocked too but don't fear, there is a new, bigger and better reader called Bloglovin' and all bloggers and blog readers have flocked over there! So, basically what I'm trying to say is if you're following this blog on GFC, click HERE to follow me on Bloglovin' instead.  If you don't have an account yet, it literally takes 3 minutes AND you can import all the blogs you follow in google reader! Hope you're having a nice weekend and see you shortly my last exam is on Tuesday!

TOP OF THE CROPS

Awkward faces aside, I just wanted to show you what kind or clothes I like to wear whilst revising - if you can't tell already, comfort is KEY (insert metaphorical megaphone here). I honestly cannot describe how insanely comfy these trousers are, I feel like I'm wearing pyjamas! The crop top I'm wearing is actually a DIY I did ages ago - and then completely forgot about - it's so simple, but I love how it turned out!
Anyway must get back to revising photosynthesis...or something equally as boring. Hope you're all well, have a nice weekend!
