Talk about crazy background! My brother ("photographer" he likes to think ;) ) thought I was insane when I told him I wanted the pictures taken here, I already looked a bit like a hobo so I guess it's in-keeping with the whole theme, right? Anyway, I have two glorious weeks off school to - I wish I could say relax - revise..okay, fine, and relax...a little bit!

SIXTIES SILHOUETTES

What I'm Wearing: Zara Turtle-Neck Jumper, Bershka Lace Skirt, Primark Tights, Mountain Life Boots, Ebay Round Sunglasses

 Finally an outfit post! I know, I know, it's been a while. trust me I am just as relieved about it as you are (if not, more). It's a mixture of the terrible weather and mountains of work I've managed to pile up which is keeping me from posting my outfits. Anyway, I think this is probably one of my favourite outfits that I've posted, it's so simple but it's the little details like the turtle neck and the sunglasses that really complete the outfit. I used to be really adamant to be seen wearing a turtle neck, I mean it's kind of 'mumsy' if you get what I mean, but I've been wearing them non-stop recently, I guess you could say I'm a turtle-neck convert - don't tell my mum, please.

TREND REPORT: RELECTIVE SUNGLASSES

Firstly so sorry for the lack of outfit posts, with coursework deadlines worryingly close and the weather refusing to let go of Winter snow storms I've had to improvise. I personally love reading these kind of posts, I think their a great source of inspiration so I hope you enjoy this too!
Bon weekend everyone and thanks for all the lovely comments on my last post, I'll be sure to post more of my photography. I love taking photos, it's so much more than just taking a camera and clicking a button, photography is about understanding light and being able to notice the unnoticeable in all aspects of life, and that's what I love, so glad you liked it too!

PRETTY AS A PICTURE

These days I feel like people don't know how to relax, yes okay, I get that sometimes nothing sounds better than the biggest baddest bag of popcorn and a tear-producing movie, but there's nothing quite like just taking an hour or two to take a walk to wherever the wind (or in my case; dog) guides you and breathing in some good old fresh air (some, what?). In today's techno-forward society it's easy to forget that there's a world beyond the screens of our laptops, phones and TV's, that's why it's so important to turn off every device connecting you to the ever-distracting internet for a while, and properly relax. Hope you enjoy these snaps I took today, I think some of them turned out quite well! Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone!!

What I'm Wearing: Vintage Shirt, Dorothy Perkins Bandeau Bra, H&M Trousers, Jones Bootsmaker's Brogues

The temperature is (very) slowly -but surely!- creeping up a few degrees, so I decided to brave it and wear something a bit more wacky because, quite frankly, I'm tired of sweaters- well, at least for now!
So, this season's major colour is forecast to be mint green, I have to say I've never really been drawn to it, it just doesn't really suit my skin tone, but this blouse is just perfect; slightly see-through, floral and a good couple of decades old, what more could you want?! You've probably all heard this time and time again but, pairing a statement piece with basic garments is a combination that never, ever fails, trust me!
I'd just like to thank you so much if you're following, I recently hit 50 followers which is a small landmark for myself, I'm so grateful, it honestly makes me so happy that you guys enjoy the blog, thanks so much again! More soon!

BACK TO BLACK

What I'm Wearing: Zara Jumper, Motel Rock Dress, Primark Tights, H&M Wedges, New Look Clutch

It is positively freezing here, and I mean that literally. This morning it snowed. It's March for Pete's sake, get it together weather!! After way too much much shivering (and way too much cursing) I decided to call it quits and run (yes, I did in fact run) home. Since moving here three years ago I supposed that I would get used to the horrendously-all-year-round-cold weather, but I haven't and I know I won't so all that's keeping me going is the thought of moving somewhere sunny as soon as Uni comes my way! I'm inclining towards LA at the minute, I thought about it a while ago but all I kept hearing was "it's never going to happen" and "be realistic" yada yada, but recent events have really taught me that, well, yolo!
If any of you are living in LA I'd love to know what it's like and if you recommend it and stuff, anyway hope you've all had a great weekend! Thanks so much for following and commenting, I really do appreciate it!!
