SNOW ON MY PARADE

What I'm Wearing: Missguided Dress (similar here and here), Suzuya Cardigan, Topshop Coat, Primark Tights, ASOS Socks, H&M Wedges, Miss Selfridge Ring

I know there's some controversy about wearing your coat like this but, hey! rules were made for breaking, right? I was really dreading going outside for these shots -if you can't tell already; I hate the cold- but I actually quite enjoyed it and we got some nice pictures too. Half term has drawn to a sad end and the regular routine commences, yet again..
I'll soon have to decide what to pick for my A-Levels and honestly I haven't a clue what to take, you'll probably ask 'Well, what do you want to be?' but the truth is, I really don't know. I mean in an ideal world I'd love to work in the fashion industry, I'm not sure what I'd do but that's what I love. On the other hand, I'm quite good at maths so it would probably be wise to exploit that, but I'm not passionate about it as I am about fashion. I mean maths and fashion are on opposite ends of the spectrum, there's no happy middle really. Anyway I won't bore you anymore, hope you enjoyed the post!

LIFE IN PICS

I was saving this post for a rainy day and today unfortunately -or fortunately- is the day. It feels like the season's have hit reverse and we've been blown with a heavy snow storm, hooray..I know I should be more excited but I'm just so ready for some sun, you know? Anyway here are my latest 'let's play around with the settings and see what we get', hope you enjoy!

SCHOOL GIRL

What I'm Wearing: M&S Shirt (boys), EWM Jumper, Zara Cord Skirt, Primark Tights, Black Hi-top Converse

Still battling with the gloom and doom of freezing cold (literally) and miserably dull weather here, hurrah.. Just when I thought the sun was here to stay- oh England, how you love to prove me wrong. Anyway, while Fashion Week draws to an end in London and commences in Milan I can sit behind my laptop screen watching the shows at ridiculous O' clock and dream of some day in the -hopefully- not too distant future, attending one of the shows. You see to me, and most lovers of fashion, it's not just a bunch of clothes on enviously beautiful women, it's art, it really is and it's wonderful. Anyway I'll shut up, hope you're all doing well!

TURTLES AND NECKS

What I'm Wearing: Vintage Turtleneck, H&M Swing Tank, ASOS Mini Skirt, Primark Tights, Garage Shoes Creepers

Going back to the turtleneck from this post here, I used to absolutely hate them but there's something so comforting about wearing something your mum would wear that keeps me reaching for it. If you read the 'What I'm Wearing' section you'll know that the flowy skirt is actually a top, I have so many of these tops that could nearly be long enough to wear without trousers but not quite, so I find wearing them with a body-con of the same colour makes your Dad not completely frown at the sight of it. I know, I know, I really need to stop wearing my creepers, but they just go with everything! Hope you're all well and happy Tuesday!

PYJAMA PARTY

What I'm Wearing: M&S Pyjama Top, Pull & Bear Jeans, Jones Bootmaker Brogues

"She can't actually be wearing a pyjama top..right?" Please don't crucify me but I thought it looked kind of cool..maybe. I know the pyjama trend has come and gone but I don't think I ever partook in it plus this top is SO comfy and come on, it doesn't look too obvious. Anyway, I'll stop trying to convince myself. On the plus side I have an entire week off school -insert air punch here- so I'm taking full advantage of it and putting my feet well and truly up.You know when you rediscover something you used to love? Well I stumbled across this song and fell in love all over again. I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for all your sweet comments, they mean so much, so a big BIG thank you!

SKIN SAVIOR: BEAT THE BLEMISH

No make-up; yikes. Bags and all!

I've been debating whether to share my skin secret with the world for some time, but, since the heavens decided to open and I couldn't go outside I took it as a sign that it was time to share it.
So, here it is; Jojoba Oil! "jojoba what?!" Yes okay, I know, you're probably wondering why in God's name would you put oil on your face? But trust me, this product has thoroughly transformed my skin from dry, dull and spot ridden to glowy and naturally healthy! (anyone smell cheese?) I do still get the odd pimple but this really has worked wonders for my skin and has become a staple in my routine.
"Hang on, what even is it?" Jojoba oil is an 100% natural oil found in the seed of the Jojoba plant. It's rich in Vitamin E which is great for minimizing the appearance of pores, it also provides great hydration to the skin. Not only that, it's fantastic for acne, acne scarring and even wrinkles (although I can't testify for the wrinkle part-yet). "How and when do you use it?" I use this every night after washing my face, right after I've applied my moisturiser, with clean hands. You can also use this during the day but I prefer not to as you'll probably look..erm..oily.
If you struggle with acne, or even if you don't, I strongly recommend this product, I bought mine on Amazon here. Try it for yourself and tell me what you think!

BOND, JAMES BOND

What I'm Wearing: Motel Rocks Dress, New Look Heels, Mango Ring

So yesterday I went to a Bond themed party and this is what I (finally) decided to wear - after changing my mind at least 100 times. This dress was actually a maxi dress but I hacked it off because, honestly, I looked a bit ridiculous. Clothes always seem to drown me as I'm quite petite -thanks mum and dad- so I usually end up customizing everything. Although I still haven't completely regained my sense on hearing, I had such an amazing night dancing away like a complete idiot. If you're new to my blog; 'Welcome!' and thank you so much to my new followers, it makes me so happy that you actually want to read my blog! Anyway, hope you all had a great weekend, oh and give this a listen, it's getting me even more excited for Summer!

COME FLY WITH ME

What I'm Wearing: Hard Rock Cafe T-Shirt, Sparkle & Fade at UO Cardigan(similar here), Miss Selfridge Shorts, Garage Shoes Creepers, Primark Tights

I felt like I was about to set flight here, the wind was insane - hence the crazy hair. I had my yearly (so bad, I know) hair cut last week and honestly, this probably sounds stupid but I miss my messy, split-end ridden locks! It's just too neat now. Sort of dipping into the 'wish it was Summer already I'm sick of the cold' person in me, this is something I'd definitely wear in Summer; minus the tights (duh). If you follow me on Twitter then you might have already heard this, but I've been obsessing over this song, it's amaaaaazing!
Hope you're all having a great week, more soon!
